This invoice still has to get paid

A free InvoBee account picks up where the PDF leaves off.

Send it, don't print it

Email invoices with a pay-online link. Clients pay by card without mailing a check.

Reminders chase late payers

What to put on a cleaning invoice

  1. Your business name and how to reach you. Phone and email, so a client with a question calls you instead of setting the invoice aside.
  2. The client and the address you cleaned. Clients with more than one property need to know which visit this is.
  3. The date of the clean and an invoice number. Numbers like INV-2026-014 make it easy to find a payment later.
  4. One line per service. List the standard clean and each add-on (inside oven, fridge, windows, laundry) with its own price. Itemized invoices get fewer "what is this charge?" questions.
  5. A clear due date. Most residential cleaners use "due on receipt". For commercial clients, Net 15 or Net 30 is common; write the date, not just the term.
  6. How to pay. The fastest invoices to get paid are the ones with a pay-now link. If you take Zelle, cash or check, say so on the invoice.
  7. Your late and cancellation policy. One short line about late fees or lockout fees, so it's not a surprise later.

Weekly and biweekly clients

If you clean the same homes every week or every two weeks, you don't need to fill in a new invoice each time. A free InvoBee account sends recurring invoices on schedule, lets clients pay by card or bank transfer from the invoice, and can send them in Spanish. On Pro, it also follows up automatically when someone pays late.
